Nominator's project description

Professor Kleshchev is well-known internationally for his outstanding and influential work on representation theory. He discovered and established modular branching rules and proved the Mullineux conjecture. He also obtained important results on W-algebras and recently found gradings of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras. In Germany he will continue to work on representation theory of symmetric groups and Hecke algebras, on categorizations and on connections with Lie theory and quantum groups.
